I have the vaguest of ideas of how to get into this. I know graph theory is involved, but don't know much else. This is a long term goal, but I'm interested in modeling a computer network and how the system would behavior under various loads. I've only started to scratch the surface in terms of what machine learning is and is not capable of, but I can't think of where you would even start.
Similar question about genetic algorithms. I know some key words and have tried reading up on them but just looking for some pointing in the right direction.
