R vs Python is everywhere but however at some point one has to choose one.
R has much to do with Statistical computing and data analytics. It has been used for a long time in scientific/mathematical computing. Has much support and packages for ML/Data science.
Python seems versatile being a general purpose language. It seems to be catching up and gaining much attention for doing data science only in recent years.
In Layman terms, which one to choose for what? What could be the career path after choosing it?
