Unsupervised Image recognition example (possibly google)

I've lost something in the internet.

I'm trying to find a link/reference to an article showing the results of an unsupervised computer vision effort.

Amongst the description of the project was a large 6000x6000 image of tons of thumbnails where the similar thumbnails were placed next to each other. The image flowed from cars->boats -> canoes -> camping -> trees->flowers->bugs on flowers and so on.

It 'might' have been done by google.
