Hello, I've decided to take advantage of the wealth of online materials and learn the basics of machine learning. I'm a self-taught computer programmer who went to art school, and the last math class I took was Algebra II/Trig in high school. So my question is, what are the maths I should study before getting into ML? From what I can gather, I'll need calculus, probability, and some kind of statistics -- but I'd like to hear from people who know :) Time is not an issue, I want to make sure I have the proper foundation so I can learn the topic well. Thanks!
