I'm currently in Linear Algebra, what should I look up that isn't generally covered in an elementary class?

We're going to get right up to the edge of vector space isomorphisms before the syllabus runs out. I'm finding it very interesting, but we've had to skip a lot of application illustrations for the sake of time.
